  Troubleshooting

We would like to apologize for any trouble you may be having with your PWR-net Wireless Broadband Internet. PWR-net is a line-of-sight product, so trees, terrain and anything that gets in the way of the signal can create issues with our Internet product reaching you.

We hope this page will assist you in getting your service back on in a timely manner. If you are still having trouble, please contact us Monday - Friday from 7:30am-noon and 1-4:30pm by calling toll free 1-877-994-2323 or E-mailing us at troubleshooting@pwr-net.coop.

The first step is to make sure there is nothing blocking the path between your CPE outside and the tower site from which you receive your
PWR-net signal.

Here are three Quick Troubleshooting Tips - try Internet after each step:

1. Unplug router from electrical outlet for 30 seconds and plug back in (try Internet)
2. Restart computer (try Internet)
3. Unplug CPE power injector from electrical outlet for 30 seconds and plug back in (try Internet)

PWR-net service rings shown below indicate service from each of PWR-net's towers or broadcast points. Each ring indicates a 7 mile radius around each broadcast point. PWR-net has 32 broadcast points. Click here to download a larger map (pdf)

This is a line-of-sight product so trees and terrain-challenged areas may not be able to receive a PWR-net signal even though you may fall within our service cloud.
